Univision Deportes Partners With NeuLion and NEP to Deliver First North American Live Soccer Broadcast in 4K to Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs

(UCI) that also includes UND, the No. 1 Spanish-language sports network, to deliver a 4K live stream of the upcoming friendly match between Mexico's National Team and Senegal taking place at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida on February 10th, to Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs.

The event will be streamed live in 4K by leveraging the NeuLion® Digital Platform and delivered over-the-top (OTT) to Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs that have integrated the NeuLion 4K Streaming SDK for viewing at Marlins Park Stadium and multiple Sony locations in New York and California. The live event, produced by Univision Deportes and NEP and delivered by NeuLion, is being streamed in advance of the launch of a new Univision Deportes 4K app that will be made available for select 4K devices in the coming months. The partnership also includes NEP which will provide a 4K mobile unit, cameras with long sports lenses in native 4K, EVS playback 4K machines, 4K VIZ graphics unit and a Sony multi-channel 4K hard drive recorder to archive the historic broadcast.
