State Releases June 2025 General Revenue Report

Jefferson City, Mo. - State Budget Director Dan Haug announced today that net general revenue collections for June 2025 increased 1.5 percent compared to those for June 2024, from $1.26 billion last year to $1.28 billion this year.

Net general revenue collections for 2025 fiscal year-to-date increased 0.0 percent compared to June 2024, from $13.43 billion last year to $13.43 billion this year.

        GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
        
        Individual income tax collections
        

• Increased 1.3 percent for the year, from $9.05 billion last year to $9.17 billion this year.
• Increased 2.6 percent for the month.

Pass Through Entity tax collections

• Decreased 3.7 percent for the year, from $746.42 million last year to $718.61 million this year.
• Increased 4.5 percent for the month.

Sales and use tax collections

• Increased 1.2 percent for the year, from $3.18 billion last year to $3.22 billion this year.
• Increased 17.9 percent for the month. 

Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections

• Decreased 5.4 percent for the year, from $1.05 billion last year to $994.2 million this year.
• Increased 7.3 percent for the month.

All other collections

• Increased 3.6 percent for the year, from $1.04 billion last year to $1.08 billion this year.
• Decreased 14.4 percent for the month.

Refunds

• Increased 6.5 percent for the year, from $1.64 billion last year to $1.75 billion this year.
• Increased 73.9 percent for the month.

Pass-Through Entity tax collections were previously reported within Individual Income, which makes growth in Individual Income tax collections appear artificially low.
